so, i have 10 mill in cash in bank atm, is there any way i can train smithing by buying some sort of bars, smithing items with them and selling them in the ge for profit? thanks in advanced

Go there.

Go down to the smithing section.

Click on 1,2, or 3 (and 5) bars to see if any make you a profit.

 

If writing in the category proift per xp is a blue color, then it makes you profit. If its red, then you lose money.

I did some research for you, and it looks like you make profit making bronze dart tips. LOL

 

In general, if you buy bars, smith them into items, and resell those items, you will never make profit.

 

One exception though is making cannon balls. This is extremely slow, and I don't advise it, but it does make money.

 

Also I don't know how buying the ores -> bars -> items works out. That may make money, or not. But thats another option to look into.

It's actually quite bad money, making anything mithril is like 20 gp/xp.

 

 

Smelting Cannonballs, while incredibly lackluster, and horribly slow xp will give you profit.

Iron bars to knives is a small profit at current prices, and they have pretty high demand. But they're slow too.
