June 5, 201016 yr Uh acrylic on canvas, currently in progress. Her arms need to be redone, want some input to add to the BG and stuff.Watercolor on board, I have no idea what to do. Its aimless painting dawg.Interior design, I don't know what color her dress should be.
June 9, 201016 yr The first one kinda has a "Nightmare Before Christmas" look to it, I guess not anymore with the feathers... The face on the second kinda weirds me out. I quite the third one though, You could leave the dress white and elegant looking if you fill out most of the other white spaces first, and possibly add a bit of texture to the dress. But that's just me and I have no strength behind me opinions. You're good though :thumbup:
June 9, 201016 yr It may just be me, but I'm seeing a couple perspective things on the third one:The windows seem to face towards the right, but the wall faces left.The lid on the piano just doesn't look quite right. Like it needs to come down and be twisted back a bit. I dunno. I'm not a fan of the style in the first two, but I really like the third. I like the sharp lines and the colors you've chosen. I'd almost be tempted to leave the dress white, unless she is supposed to be the focal for the piece. I think the walls and window seem slanted because of the curvature in the paper when the picture was taken. The updated version of the 1st one looks like the only scanned one? Anyhow i really like the updated one with peacock feathers, the colour really does jump out though - so perhaps a lighter background? I'm not a fan of the watercolour one, the face is all out of proportion and it isn't generally doing anything for me. As for the drawing, i would suggest adding colour to the hair, and the floor - which would make the white dress fit in. Don't change the dress colour. Also, the legs on the piano do not look very 3-D and i think the piano should be black. Hope that helps :) - Nice work!! Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
