June 5, 201016 yr This question may seem stupid but I just got back in RS after a 9 month break :) happy to be back BTW I am trying to find the battered key to get into the elemental workshop.I do not have the key on my account, and I have tried using the book in the bookshelf and slashing it to get the key, but it says nothing interesting happens (this was attempted with both a knife and a slash weapon) the book is referred to as the 'slashed book' when it's in my inventoryI cannot figure out how to get in to start this quest, and it is really frustrating so any help would be appreciated To the best of my knowledge I dropped the key long ago when I ended my membership, or lost it when I died and it was on the key ring from Eadger's Ruse. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you only 2 skills below level 50 :)
June 5, 201016 yr Search the bookcase.Dialogue says you find the book.Actually click the click here to continue bit.You also find a key on the shelf.
