Hey guys, I'm back to Runescape after an over 1 year hiatus. I'm attempting to finish the death of Chivalry quest. I am currently stuck at the final boss fight against Dawn. This is really frustrating considering I did Black Knights Fortress like a decade ago, and I'm stuck on it now My combat stats are: Attack: 70 Strength: 70 Defense: 71 Constitution: 71 Magic: 69 Ranged: 70 Prayer 53 She starts with like 20000 health. My first attempt I had full Torags with an abyssal whip and an inventory of sharks, I could only get her to 9000hp Today I tried to kill her wearing full black dragon hide, archer helmet and a rune crossbow with mithirl emerald bolts (enchanted) only get her to like 8000 health. I had Tuna-potatoes for food that time. My strategy involved me trying to dodge her special attacks and constantly praying to offset her damage of the damage of her minions which were actually super challenging. Q1. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick or strategy to beating her? I've heard people say when they beat her at level 30 she was easy. I don't have that option Q2. Is there a trick to food now, whether or not it optimizes healing you or something? Is it not just the best food heals the most? Q3 What should I take to beat her? I can afford any viable builds that are <2mil, I can sell the equipment back later anyway

I did cannons with sacred clay ranger gear (parts) and I ended up training at rock crabs, and/or yaks

I agree completely :) anyway I just thought these might be a couple good ideas, because I cant think of a way to actually break bots

I would like to apologize right off the bat because this suggestion will not appeal to pure skillers. I know this wouldnt stop the bots spamming the mining, crafting and fishing guilds, but I think these would be some nice preventative measure. 1. Raise the requirement of certain guilds like the Crafting guild from 40 to 55. Level 40 is simply too easy to acquire 2. Have the guilds stipulate you must have played the game for a certain period of time (days/months idk) before you would be granted access 3. Guilds require quests or 'initiation' mini quests before you are allowed to enter 4. All guilds require a certain combat level (in addition to their standard requirements) 5. All guilds require a certain skill total (in addition to their standard requirements) 6. Upon acceptance you must pay a ONE TIME entrance fee (for new members) I know ideas 2, 4, and 5 seem rather harsh or inapplicable so I'll give an example that I think would be acceptable. This is an example entrance requirement to access the Crafting Guild (we'll say f2p) -You must have 55 Crafting -You must complete the 'Artisans masterpiece' quest -You must have a skill total greater than 300 -You must pay a 50K entrance fee Ultimately I'd like to hear your opinions and ideas :)

Membership Loyalty Programme - 9 Slots at GE

It seems like a good idea, but unfortunatly I think it'd be Exchange overkill... just unnecessary :) sorry no support :) -
Something handy I noticed today is that when you collect resources from Grimm, it shows your popularity above the resources (to be sent to your bank)

My Question has been answered, please close post

I am currently trying to train my woodcut level from 66 to 70. according to the calculators that is going to take me: 1800 Maple logs (with the seers headset bonus) at seers village or 3000 willow logs (outside Draynor) I unfortunatly have no lumberjack equipment or anyother modifying stuff. which method will be faster? (physically and mentally) I'm asking because maples are almost double the xp per trip, but they tend to take much longer. Where willow trips are relatively quick, and i seem to get more nests because im cutting more. money isn't really an issue in this since im just looking to nicely level the stat out. but I would like to hear your ideas! Thanks!

If I save my Squik juice (in the beer glasses) until the double xp weekend. do you get double xp for those juices?

I get what you're saying, but I think thats nostalgia speaking... more then reason. I like the GE, I would just prefer to see it made more accessible (across the whole game)

What are you doing, man? Just finishing up a task of 347 teaks.

This is a simple but awesome idea! I support 100% until I get that damn 10k willow task LOL -
I didn't realize bots could do complex things like quests  excuse me for being ignorant  anyway just an idea I thought might work :)

This idea is a simple but good idea, and anyone who has played Tai Bwo Wanni cleanup will hopefully understand what I mean when I enter Miscellania or Excetria, I think it would be a good idea to have in the top left corner of my screen: A happy face with a number % = showing the loyalty of the populace at the time A gold coin = showing whether I have money in the coffers or not (so if i had no money in the coffers... don't show a coin) A treasure chest = showing whether the kingdom has resources for me to pick up (so if i had no resources to be picked up... don't show a chest) These markers in the left corner of the screen would only appear while on Miscellania/Excetria) much like the Tai Bwo clean up markers. I'm sorry I don't have images to help make this easier to understand, and if somone could get pictures I would really appreciate it! Ultimatly I'd like to hear your opinions!

I've recently been reading a lot of 'ways to take care of bots' posts and I wanted to suggest a simple idea. To be fair, I am a P2P player, and these suggestions are more geared towards F2P. I would apply this suggestion to the following: Mining Guild, Crafting Guild, Yews, maybe Karamja docks and/or green dragons because these are the places most plagued by marcoers. In order to enter the mining guild, crafting guild, cut yews, etc a player must complete a mini quest, or a series of tasks for the guildmaster. This may seem overkill or inconenient, but for most players the mining guild, crafting guild and yews would be entirely worth it  particularly without macroers! Example: Dwarvern Initiation. You must journey to the various mines in Runescape to collect various rare ores. The Al kharid star ore, the Varrock marble ore, the Lumbridge swamp ore, the karmja glow ore and the Falador shimmer ore. Once the ores are collected (or other tasks are completed. players will be allowed to operate within the guild. Id like to be perfectly clear that these quests arent designed to be One Small Favour irritably long, but if the player isnt willing to go out of their way to complete this, they shouldnt be allowed in. This may seem inconvenient for players, but the point I am arguing is: If you wish to join my guild, there is a challenge you must complete to enter. Ultimately I'd like to hear all of your suggestions and ideas, so post away!

I'm getting the general vibe people would like to keep the Grand Exchange idea because its centralized. what if perhaps they made 2-3 major hubs. perhaps one in Arodounge or Yanille?
-
I agree it is a social hub, but I typically think people meet other people while training, questing etc. the GE is simply a place people shout their bids on the GE. However people may obviously have had different experiences than me.

warnings should be put in the security stronghold, player tutorials etc. if players are actually giving away money there are other ways to do it, via the party room etc or free drops. otherwise if you get scammed its your own fault. you don't give away money expecting double back in real life, dont expect that here. The people offering these scams aren't people to be trusted. simply put. I appreciate your concern for other players but some lessons just need to be learned the hard way, and it should be exceptionally difficult when Jagex warns players in numerous places about scams :)

Seems like a fair idea, your suggestion to ban accounts for making mistakes in the random events scares me because I often make stupid mistakes in said events. so eeep that kinda saces me  but I still think its a good idea

Well Im back, after several months Ive re-subscribed to members and Im back in the game. While fishing at Pisctoris this idea popped into my head and I wanted to share it with you while I fish away :) to get level 80 fishing. Its a relatively simply idea but I think itd be a good one none the less. Unfortunately I dont know if the game code or hardware is relevant to my suggestion, and if it is please inform my poor informed soul. :) The Grand Exchange is the trading hub for the entire game, located in Varrock. The Grand Exchange works in a way players bid their items/money to be exchange for items/money. When the transaction is complete players may collect the items/money at the Grand Exchange, or from a friendly nearby banker. Most players will place their buy/sell bids on the exchange and go about their day until the bid is fully completed, at that time they will proceed to the exchange or a bank to claim their money/items. I think we could simplify this. To remove the inconvenience of having to go to the Grand Exchange to change your current bids, or make new ones; why shouldnt it be possible to make bids from the same locations that have the banker collect option? I know going to the exchange is not a significant inconvenience, but I think this is a good idea because it would simplify a system everyone uses; and make it more accessible across the game. An example: I fish fairly often at the Pisctoris fishing colony. I would much rather bank my items with Arnold (the banker/shopkeeper) and change/make bids with him, rather than fairy ring or teleport my way to Varrock and back again. The final benefit to removing the Grand Exchange would be the space the original exchange took up. In its place they could put in a new mini game, perhaps an agility course, a new neighborhood, quest space. I dont know whatever theyd like to throw in there! Ultimately I want to hear your opinions!
