I would strongly recommend the PS3 over the 360. Don't need to pay for a wireless adapter, don't need to pay for "live" access and quite honestly it just seems like a more solid system.

I have both systems, by the way. The PS3 I actually ended up getting used at gamestop for $220 or so. If you want the slim it's probably worth the extra $80 but I just opted for the 60 (or 80, I forget) pre-owned model. Hasn't given me any issues thus far where as my 360 has been having some issues where it will just randomly restart it's self.

Oh and unless you're a big halo guy I just don't see any other exclusives on the 360 worth mentioning.

I'm sort of leaning towards the PS3 now just because it's cheaper in the sense that I wouldn't need to buy a $100 adapter. Like I said before though, my main TV isn't HD. Obviously the graphics would be worse, but is it still worth it if I don't have an HD set?

Doable, but not recommended. Honestly, the PS3 graphics can be crazy good, especially on non-ported games. Although I do have a friend with a ps3 and a 20 inch TV, and he doesn't mind ;)

I would save it for a PS3. That is the next system Im getting. Unless a Xbox 720 is coming out soon.

$180 from Gamestop? My god, did you sell a kidney?

If you're willing to use your Wii, there's the Metroid Prime games. Those are old, but fun.
