June 17, 201016 yr Hi Im Law. I want to ask if there are other requirements to play Runescape other than Java. I just registered yesterday and I have a new laptop. I was asked to download java which I did but I still can't play. Please help me. Thank you for your reply
June 17, 201016 yr Hey Resigned, it would be helpful if you could tell us what OS and browser you're using. There are no other requirements besides downloading Java. (Except for an internet connection ofcourse) Of the top of my head, the only thing I can think of is maybe trying a different browser? June 17, 201016 yr Also worth noting generally speaking you have to exit out of your browser completely then re-open it for the java plug ins to take effect.In some cases restarting the computer completely may be needed to finalising installation. June 17, 201016 yr If I remember correctly, the RS Client from the Downloads section on the homepage is for people who are having problems with their java. Try downloading and playing with that.
