June 19, 201016 yr On the bottom right corner of the log in screen, there's a tool panel. Drag the music widget all the way to the left to turn it off 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer

June 19, 201016 yr You shouldn't have too. Runescape stores a preferences file in your documents folder with you sound and graphics settings in. As long as you are on the same computer and havent deleted the file it will keep the settings. June 19, 201016 yr I'm having the same problem, all the sound widgets are turned to lowest but it still plays only if i'm in lobby or log in screen.
