Not sure on the exact hits, maybe 1/7 on average? The hits are quite common, although rarely you could end up not healing for about 15-20 hits.

Don't quote me on this, but if I remember this right (it's three or four years ago I've heard it though) It's approximately 15%.

 

Edit: 1/7 = 14%. I guess it's around there.
