June 20, 201016 yr I know mousekeys are legal. However, while I'm high alching things, I don't need to move my mouse at all, so instead of pressing the "5" key I use the "+" sign. For those that don't know, the "+" sign performs a double-click. This way, I don't have to click "cast spell" and then click on an item. Now my question is, is this against the rules or not? I heard somewhere that Jagex stated that 1 input must result in 1 output, so am I breaking the rules by doing this?

June 20, 201016 yr Is it still part of the mousekeys feature? If so, I'd bet that it's ok. ~It's Super Effective! June 20, 201016 yr Author It is part of the mousekeys feature, and should come standard on most computers. I guess I'll stop using them for now though, just to be safe.

I would use it myself if I were in your situation. ~It's Super Effective! June 20, 201016 yr Author I would keep using it, but I'm afraid Jagex will think I'm using an autoclicker or something...

Talk to people then, break to do something else, just don't grind for hours on end and you'll be fine. ~It's Super Effective! June 20, 201016 yr It's a gray area last time I checked. Jagex allows mousekeys, and also programmable mouse and keyboard buttons for clicking/using function keys, but they've also said they must conform to a 1:1 click ratio. The + key would seem to not fit into that description, but I know plenty of people use it, mainly to withdraw ingredients for overloads quickly. It might've been cleared up in a later forum topic or something though, so I hope someone can give me some updates. Either way I honestly don't think you need to worry about it. June 20, 201016 yr Author After searching the official forums, I found this topic, in which a few people say the "+" key is legal, and others who disagree. However, this tpoic has a post by a JMod stating that the mousekeys that come with windows are legal. So I'm just going to keep using it.
