jjrox32
So I broke my femur during a football game when some guy gave me a dirty hit, so I can't walk for another 5-6 weeks. The only upside to this is that I have a lot more time to bulk up since I can't play again until late September. I can still do all my upper body exercises but I'm struggling finding things to do for abs/core work since I have a full leg cast on. I can still do crunches and use the ab crunch machine they have at my school's weight room, but other than that I can't think of anything. Any suggestions? un4given
The ab machine or whatever you're working with for abs is fine, borderline unnecessary. If you're goal is strength for football then I'd disregard working out since there is literally no power exercises(which mainly involves the core) that you can do with a broken femur. If you want to keep lifting to retain some sort of sanity due to this issue, then chest/back/shoulders/arms would be ideal for you. Disregard females. Acquire currency. 123puref2p
Do not workout if you are injured. You can very easily worsen your injury. Ask your doctor first. (yes, I know this is like a 2 month old topic)
