I've been doing the gnome restaurant activity with some friends, and we've noticed a trend. you only ever get gnome scarves/goggles from captain ninto or captain daerkin. this figures, seeing as they don't need the goggles/scarves, and only pilots can give them to you..

Its true. There was a glitch once where you could drop your order pot thing in front of Gianni Jr, and get a new order for a different person. People would do this until they got one of those two people in order to get good items, after that glitch was patched the prices of scarves and goggles started to naturally rise in price again.
