The reason I ask is because I'm considering combat robes as an alterative to battle robes. Combat robes save 20% of runes, but have very low mage attack bonus. geesch Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Once you hit about 80 mage attack, anything more becomes negligible. It is suggested to use battle robes with a SOL. It is well worth it, and is really actually cheap. If you are a decent junk trader, you should be able to buy the robes and get rid of the junk PDQ, leaving you with the best robes in the game for almost no cost. In case you were curious, other boosts, such as mage pot, arcane stream, and wolpertinger boosts only work on 1 lobb, not all 9.
