July 1, 201016 yr well the new quest this month requires 68 Construction and my long-term goal was 70 So I might as well go for 70. What's the fastest method possible from 60? Popoto.~<3
July 1, 201016 yr Just do oak larders.Quote from the Construction guide:Building and removing oak larders (8 oak planks) is considered the fastest way to level up. At level 74, players can build oak doors (10 oak planks) instead. 8 oak planks,480 xp per.Take the noted planks, hammer, saw.Use the planks on the butler, the first time, unnote as many planks as possible, build the larders, remove. When you get to the salary bit, pay him from the bank(there's an option for that).
July 1, 201016 yr Mahogany carved tables are actually very, very effective. Higher gp/xp, but a lot faster, than oak larders. If I were you, I'd make those (or, in the event I'm too tired to remember correctly and you can't make them, regular tables or teak carved). ~It's Super Effective! (The Zaaps Blog)~My YouTube Channel, where you get to watch me go around and make a fool out of myself and all comp capersGuides:~Yeah I wrote them once~Suggestions:~Yeah I made those once~
July 1, 201016 yr Using any material above oak leads to spending a lot more money. Oak larders can give you in the realm of 200k exp/hour, which is already extremely fast. I dont see a point in spending 3x more for less than twice the exp. If you are extremely wealthy, you could do this though. I will be sticking with oak at a comfortable cost of 8.85gp/xp instead of 14.9gp/xp. My income isnt nearly high enough to warrant it.
July 1, 201016 yr dont forget to use an sc hammer or two to halve the xp (and thus gp) you need to get/useshould not need more than a few as 60->70 isnt much xp. =Proud member of the Order of Cabbage=

Sure, gp/xp wise, that's not worth it. But if you break it down, it's a viable option. Efficiency-wise, if you make 2m+ per hour (1m+ per hour with SC hammers), then mahogany carved tables are better. ~It's Super Effective! If you are able to make that amount of money per hour, opportunity cost says mahogany is better. I personally cannot achieve such profit, so oaks are for me. I really dont know how people can make so much an hour. Even at 99 rc, I max out at about 800k an hour...

It's not consistent, but many high-level monster hunting methods can achieve averages of over 2m/hr. ~It's Super Effective!
