well the new quest this month requires 68 Construction and my long-term goal was 70 So I might as well go for 70. What's the fastest method possible from 60?

Just do oak larders.

Mahogany carved tables are actually very, very effective. Higher gp/xp, but a lot faster, than oak larders. If I were you, I'd make those (or, in the event I'm too tired to remember correctly and you can't make them, regular tables or teak carved).

Using any material above oak leads to spending a lot more money. Oak larders can give you in the realm of 200k exp/hour, which is already extremely fast. I dont see a point in spending 3x more for less than twice the exp. If you are extremely wealthy, you could do this though. I will be sticking with oak at a comfortable cost of 8.85gp/xp instead of 14.9gp/xp. My income isnt nearly high enough to warrant it.

dont forget to use an sc hammer or two to halve the xp (and thus gp) you need to get/use

should not need more than a few as 60->70 isnt much xp.

Agreed. Its actually 1.75x the exp for thrice the cost, but your point is still valid. If you are able to make that amount of money per hour, opportunity cost says mahogany is better. I personally cannot achieve such profit, so oaks are for me. I really dont know how people can make so much an hour. Even at 99 rc, I max out at about 800k an hour...

Ahh ok. Ill give that a try when I max out.
