Fireplace - School Project

Featured Replies

This was done for a joke of a class I have. Have four things to do, one of them a 400x600 image using no photos etc. I had to document everything I did, including the sizes, colours and settings of brushes when I used them. For me, it ended up being seven pages in Word. I couldn't really do what I wanted to because I had to record every dang thing I did, and I was using PS Elements 3.0. Please ignore the bad burning job & mantle lights  :

Looks good, but the sides that give it a 3d look aren't dark enough, so it kind of looks flat. Since the majority of the light is coming out of the fireplace, then it should be darker out there :P.

Pretty cool, but the mantle is crooked, and the whole fireplace looks weird, like it's transparent.
