Thought you are literally correct in that it is directly east from Rellekka I think the direction is accurate.

 

You can't go directly east out of rellekka you HAVE to go out of the gate on the south side, from there it is northeast to the camp.

Then should it not be "northeast of the entrance to Rellekka"?

 

The G.E. is west of Varrock Castle, but you can't go to it without going south, around the west (inside) wall, and back up to the eastern entrance of the G.E. It's still west of Varrock Castle, not northwest. It's the difference between fact and opinion.
