I've never been to dks but i plan to try to solo rex soon and need some help.

 

My stats at this time are-

 

Attack-99

Strength-99

Range-99

Hitpoints-99

Magic-91

Defence-82 (not getting any higher so dont say try guthans)

Prayer-71 (never getting higher so don't advise to buy turmoil/soulsplit)

 

I know the jist of what to do but i need some help with my inventory setup

 

For gear i'm plaaning to use karil top/torag legs/verac or neit helm/dragon boots/slayer staff/blessed spirit shield/glory for 1st few times then bump up to fury

 

For inventory i was thinking..

 

1 Super strength-1Super attack-armadyl godsword or saradomin godsword (i need help on what would be better to buy)-1 Titan and scrolls

 

Really what im looking for is how many brews/restores and other stuff and how many kills could i get with my stats as they are.

Ik but i was planning on bringing sgs for the lvl 70 things to help heal on

I wouldn't really risk it, since its your first time solo'ing and if you're not extremely careful, you WILL get Dagannoth Prime on you, which if it catches you by surprise will kill you.

Why can't you use guthan's when you have 82 defense? It's the best armor to wear if all you're doing is maging rex.

 

A fruitbat is much better than a titan for maging rex.

 

You don't need a super attack or strength potion.

 

Bring a bow if you're using the tribrid method to get in.

 

Don't bring dragon boots. Wear a pair of magic boosting boots.

 

With your stats you can last 4+ hours.

 

EE is better than SGS for this.

I used this inventory when I used to solo rex:

replace rcbow with Kbow and balmung with whip.

 

with FSH, k top, inf boots, BSS, glory, v skirt, guthix cape, barrows gloves, RoL, and bolt racks

 

 

without a unicorn you have two options: prayer or guthans, either way your bringing fruit bats.

 

For prayer, wear full veracs, a stole, a sw cape, inf boots, a SoL, a zammy book/BSS, b gloves and a RoL.

 

Invent should be 1 tort with 1 summoned, 2-3 fruit bats, fruitfall scrolls, fire surge casts, teleport tabs, a black dhide body/karils body, k bow, whip, and EE/SGS, rest will be sanfew serums and brews on a 2 (serums):1 brew ratio, this can change if you realize you dont have enough healing/prayer. Your tortoise will be filled with prayer pots with 1 sanfew serum and brew thrown in every 3-5 prayer pots. Use your invent before removing anything from your tort, and then remove it all at once if you have room.
