Range_This11 Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 It is true that there is no possible way to know until this whole temple is dug up, but most early religions tended to be polytheistic because the followers were most likely going to be nomads, relying heavily on weather, seasons, and the earth for their survival. I'd venture to say that there is a very high likelihood that these people were just as superstitious as the rest of ancient cultures; worshipping every god they could personify in nature. I got about 5 paragraphs into the article before I got bored of the unnecessary amounts of introduction material that was written.
