Tansuo
Hey. I've recently come back after a roughly 6 month break from rs.the first thing that hit me was how stupidly inflated things are: I sold a fury for 2m when I quit and look how much it is now.Anyway, I need advice on what to do next. I have goals but more often than not I fail to reach them. I've tried for 99s and given up a few days later, but my most recent attempt (quest cape) is going well.I currently have 5 quests left, and I need a few requirements too. My stats: Love story: 77 mage, 67 crafting and 68 constructionMy arms big adventure: got em allNomad's Requiem: 66 mining and 60 constructionTemple at Senntisten: got em all, in the process of finishing itWithin the Light: 69 Agil. Im really struggling to come up with cost effective ways of training for 68 con, 67 craft and 77 mageand also I cannot withstand the boredom of training agil.To add to this im starting to come into money troubles. After spending ~10m on 70 pray i'm down to about 20m.I know this is still a fair amount, but its slightly frustrating to see it all stuck up in items.I plan to rectify this by starting to slay and farm again, yet it is rather slow. I may start flipping properly now as I have finally finished school for the summer (yay!) But yeah, any advice is welcome. Aslan
Love story: 77 mage, 67 crafting and 68 constructionMy arms big adventure: got em allNomad's Requiem: 66 mining and 60 constructionTemple at Senntisten: got em all, in the process of finishing itWithin the Light: 69 Agil. Construction:oak larders, in the kitchen.Wait a few days, for the planks to go down a bit.Mining:I'd go with iron.Agility:Wilderness Course.Mage:I'd superheat the iron from mining as it's a 100% success(in getting an iron bar.Drop it after you get it.)Crafting:Gold amulets are about 30k xp/hr and you profit a bit(seeing as you need some money for the other skills). Troacctid
the first thing that hit me was how stupidly inflated things are: I sold a fury for 2m when I quit and look how much it is now.In fairness, the price of the fury is due to the TzHaar shop update, not inflation. Love story: 77 mage, 67 crafting and 68 constructionMy arms big adventure: got em allNomad's Requiem: 66 mining and 60 constructionTemple at Senntisten: got em all, in the process of finishing itWithin the Light: 69 Agil. You can boost for Love Story, so you shouldn't need to train crafting or magic at all--just use potions. If you find a good team for Barbarian Assault, you can use a Penance Horn to help with agility and/or mining. But it's only worthwhile if you have a competent and patient team who can do at least a full 10 waves without anyone quitting, so don't bother trying to use W6. As for money, I might as well save Zaaps the trouble of copy/pasting that post he's been making all over the place. I get 6-9m per week from Dailies. Do those and you'll easily have your money. To be specific, that's: Zaff's Battlestaves, Baba Yaga's battlestaves and death/earth/water runes, Magic Guild death/earth/water runes, Sumona's broad bolts unf (you can use any master, but Sumona is quickest if you have a Slayer Ring, alternatives are Fairy Ring to Kuradal, Karam Gloves to Duradel, or Kharyll teleport to that guy in Canafis), Farming snapdragons and limpwurts with the Scroll of Life and the fastest method, MTK raw fish and herbs, and brewing Greenman Ales with "the stuff." You can also throw Bork in there, although it's more for charms than profit. If you want to count CTS Waterfiends from my 40 minutes 3x charms per week, that's another ~100k or so. There's a whole bunch of other stuff you can throw in if you REALLY want that money quick. That's Ardy Cape pure essence, Catherby Pineapples/Seaweed, etc., etc. Frankly, I don't bother with anything I didn't list in the paragraph above (besides Circus/Penguins for xp and Trouble Brewing every month or so for an hour for more of "the stuff"). If you throw in a little merchanting, you can increase your cashpile by ~2% each day. I fail at merchanting though, so I can't give you any tips. Knight_Zaros
Thing thats made runescape more enjoyable than past time's ive played is I've expanded on my "dailies" and "weeklies" tasks list. This is good for you considering you are worried about funds. The best part about the dailies is it takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes to maybe max a half hour or so if you do everything. You having done pretty much every quest really helps you as far as dailies because you have access to more of them than I do with only 130 some quest points. Make sure you are doing MTK with herb with 10 workers and mining at 5 (watch the second one as this changes somewhat frequently), you can also do raw fish for about the same profit, some people say maples too but that banks alot on getting good nests. But definitly 10 on herb. Besides MTK (which is more like a weekly task if you ask me) I do a few quick and easy things takes me 10minutes max. With MTK its well over 500k profit everyday, probably closier to 1million. Other tasks include. - Zafts Battlestaffs (if you have done varrock achievement diaries this profit increases drastically) - Various Rune shops (currently earths, waters, and deaths have been profitable for resell) - Feather shops (again been profitable forawhile now) - Slayer's unfinished broad bolts Then add in some farming run(s) and you can really increase your profits. As for training none of your tasks seem to bad, I mean your talking two magic levels you can do that in a day with combat magic if you wanted too (I would much more fun). One crafting level wont cost you much at all. Construction as said oak larders is the most cost effective way, with 20mil "to spend" you will have plunty of room especially if you continue with the dailies task. As for agiltiy always put all you XP lamps and random rewards into it, every little bit helps. funion987
Mining should be easy enough, a couple shooting stars or just a few hours' worth of ore for that. If you have a lot of patience, you could spin flax and make a decent amount of money for the crafting levels.
