December 1, 200520 yr I was mining at the crafting guild... 3 MoM's, giving box (sapphire), kebab, box (sapphire) - I think others there got MoM's as well. Dwarven Mine, I got 2 genie's, someone else got one as well. Not sure how true this is, but it seems that if you see a random you like, stay in that area and you have a better chance of it, almost as if they wander around the world and bomb one area at a time. One time, I got a string of freaky foresters - don't like them, as I couldn't care less about collecting 0-stat clothing.

December 1, 200520 yr Once I was training at Basilisks with 3 other people. First person gets a genie, then the second, then the third. I say "looks like I'm next!" Less then a minute later I get my only mime ever. So, yes. I really think they come in clusters based on what "square" of the map you're in.

A while later, I decided to ranomly use an uncut sapphire on a sulpher vent... I got a genie. Then later on, I decided to test this more, used an uncut emerald on the sulpher, I got an old man. Weird. I've stopped playing RuneScape. KoL's better.
