abby demons have horrible magic defense so you'll pretty much never miss.

you can fire ~ 1000 surges per hour

 

so that comes out to 118k -132k magic xp/hour depending on magic damage bonus. for fire surge

I have some experience in this area, so I'll reply to another one of your threads :thumbsup: When I got 90 magic, I tried Water surging Steel dragons near the Temple in upper Wilderness (from that quest Temple of Senisomething) and wound up losing money because of how freakin' expensive Water runes are. Then I tried out Abyssal demons, and although they are fast, still lost money with Water surge. I have no idea about Earth surge, but I have heard from reliable sources that Fire Surging Abyssal Demons is profitable and over 100k xp/hr.

 

Best equipment is obvious, but I'll tell you anyway:

Full Ahrim

Arcane stream necklace

Staff of light

Blessed Spirit Shield

Gloves [barrows]

Infinity boots

Seers' Ring(i)

God cape (from Mage Arena)

 

I believe there are a couple logs about Surging Abyssal Demons on the RSOF, might be a good idea to check those out as well. Good luck, and maybe I'll see you there after I finish Planking another 21k logs...

Sounds like Tomb of frost would be a good investment if you are going to do dungeoning for arcane stream anyway.
