I havn't fished in years (I'm not exagerating) and i want to get back into it.

My fishing is only level 60 and i have no idea what to fish. I am a member but i havn't and dont intend to do any unlocking fishing places via quest as i don't have the patience for it.

So is there anywhere which is 'okay' xp and 'okay' money'??

Barb Village flyfishing is fast xp if u bank at soul wars it could be ok money but not very good. Lobster fishing at Catherby is pretty good money and xp at yourlevel as well.

I'm like the catherby idea, i could do that. And wouldn't that be ideal to do some farming behind the bank at the same time??

Smart idea it would =] best would be highest herb u can do, limp's, and strawberries if you can do them as well.

I don't know if you have shilo village done or not, but it's great for fishing, literally like 20 steps away from a bank. Barbarian Fishing can also be fast exp from what I've been told.

Barbarian Fishing is good for pure xp however the OP is looking for ok exp AND money, barb fishing is little to NO money in order to get the most out of barb fishing u need to drop the fish therefore the only money u make really is if u cut the fish into Caviar and Row

Go to edge with a bunyip, powerfish, and use the fish on the bunyip for water runes. Saw this on the "Did you know..." section of this weeks Tip.it times. It could be valuable (assuming you have access to bunyip)

Last I checked. Lobsters where crashed to the point of not even worth fishing anymore. Do fly fishing till you can get in to sword fish at a decent rate. Then a slow exp grind and ok money is sharks when you can do them. But when you hit 85 do cave fish. Then when you get 90 start on rocktails.

Well it sounds to me like monkfish would be best for you. Barbarian fishing isn't really great till level 70.

OP said that he didn't really have Fishing areas unlocked, nor does he intend to unlock them, so mentioning places like Shilo Village or Piscatoris doesn't help him at all. Your only real options, without these two places; are Fly Fishing in the River Lum and banking in Lumbridge Castle. Or fishing lobsters or tuna/swordfish in Catherby.
