Okay so through some luck I've managed to aquire a Shadow Silk Hood in Dung. Should I bind it over a promethium platebody? Simple enough question but I want your opionions.

If you do any soloing at all, no.

 

If you play with a team, yes, because you can always get someone else to tank for you while you can help out the team by getting keys/opening doors without taking damage.

Yesterday I got a shadow silk hood drop and had the choice of it over a platebody. I decided to try out the hood for awhile and found that in teams it is probably the best item you could ever want. It should definitely be bound over the plate if you go in groups, or even duos.
