Slayer equipment question(s)

well firstly, i'd like to say i've done my homework on slayer, powerslaying, ect.

First question, would dharok's set be a viable choice over powerslaying on certain tasks? many tasks i can survive on salmon or guthan's healing occasionally. was wondering if the dh set would be more beneficial than slayer helm on tasks like fire giants, LRC, gargoyles, ect.

Another question, what would be the best use of charms to get 68 summoning? i have about 100 blues, 300 greens, 700 crims, 1.3k golds. I know i can get 500-600 more crims and get it purely off them, but i don't know what would be the quickest way.

I can't think of any Kuradal tasks where Dharok's would be better than using a whip/rapier and full slay helm. However, Dharok's is still a viable option on a lot of tasks and is a lot of fun to use. Fire giants in the smoky well comes to mind, as the well keeps you at 1 LP. Just need to pray melee.

As far as slayer gear, it depends on what you're looking for. For powerslaying, you definitely want to use piety/turmoil, which means using a proselyte top, fire cape, and Verac's skirt. There are better setups than that, but there's a basic and effective one for you. If you're not powerslaying, use a barrows top, Verac's skirt, fire cape, and 10% strength prayer. I used that setup up until level 90 slayer, but I recommend powerslaying before 90.

I cba to pay enough attention to pray piety, but I recommend that you do so- it is the only efficient way to play.

If you want, Dust Devils in the smoke tunnels can also be whacked with dharoks, as you do not yet have an adequate combat familiar.

You need a facemask for dust devils. ;)

*facepalm* I've been using a FSH for so long that these details escape me.

Also, I'm stupid =D

Actually when praying you could dharok the dust devils in the chaos tunnels (there was a guide about it like 4 years ago)

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

No, because the dusties would lower your stats making in an inviable option.

You COULD DH fire giants in the smokey well, since the smoke keeps you at 1hp the entire time.
