Solo F2P Dungeoneering

Featured Replies

So I have recently comeback from a 10 month hiatus and have been training this new skill, Dungeoneering.

I wanted to gain a suitable Dung level before regaining Membership, maybe a level around 60-65. And seeing as it hard to organize a good team in F2P, i want to do thiis solo.

I have heard something, like rushing a med Dungeon on a lower complexity, but I don't understand what rushing means or if this is even a fast way to get exp in F2P Dung.

So, how can I get fast Dungeoneering Exp in F2p, while do it solo?

Also, when i reset my prestige, should I start at one and work down?

Rushing is only done when gaining prestige.

Basically:

When you level up and you cant do any more dungeons, you reset your floors via the ring.

Then you rush from 1-whatever you were on.

Rushing is when you basically run thru the dungeon to the boss, only killing monsters if there's a door requiring them to be killed called "Guardian Door"

It's a bit hard to take it all in but over time you'll understand.

Also when rushing, do Small dungeons.

Should I stay at Complexity 6 or go lower for faster dungeons/exp?

Tough question, complexity 1 is perhaps good for rushing, as you can equip and go, and also and advantage if you do not have the supporting skills.

Probably little reason to do anything other than 1 or 6.

Always be on a prestige run, that means when you cannnot do the next floor, you reset progress and then repeat all floors from 1.

Bind a good item, for F2P melee, this will normally be a fractite weapon, as you can usually do a few rooms with weapon but no armour.

For range, you could bind a bow, but even on C6, it seems you usually get a decent bow as one of the table items - if that's the case, may be better to bind the body armour. Also, bind some arrows.

For mage, it's difficult, as the ammunition bind only keeps 125 of a single rune. If you are happy with a water staff, then bind a piece of armour, but as the water staff is the only one you can make, if you want to use any other, you'll have to bind it. Sharp tactic, do complexity 1 and see what staff you get, bail out and then repeat until you get the one you want (F2P best = Catalytic - doesn't provide any runes, but increases damage)

With 50 runecrafting (not sure where the breakpoint is), you can make a profit on air runes, but selling them at 50 per action is slow.

The other thing, are you good at rushing?

Probably little reason to do anything other than 1 or 6.

If you're rushing multiple floors, it automatically goes up a complexity level when you finish a floor. It's faster to do it on C2 than to leave and come back to do C1 again.

You will. Get half exp unless you dung with a lower level person. Jagex halves the exp if the average combAt in the party is over 89.
