I have 15m to spend on armour but im only 60 defence, what does everyone suggest i should get? I will mainly be using it for slayer task and general combat training.

Use rune till you get to 70 defence then barrows.

Get 70 defence then buy torags top+bottom, and dragon boots. Do some of/complete RFD so you can get barrows gloves.

I agree with them, d boots and rune 'til lvl 70, then barrows.

Granite body, dragon plateskirt. Ugly as hell imho, but it's cheap, better than rune, and it'll do until you get to 70. The rest of the kit should be the same as if you had 70 defense: slayer hat, dragon boots, barrows gloves, obsidian cape or better, fury > glory, warrior ring.

Even better at lvl 70 get torag/dharok plate and Verac's skirt (prayer bonus)

Buy an amulet of glory/fury

dragon boots

Get a (full)Slayer helm

Do Rfd for the barrows gloves

Obsidian cape or skillcape will do for the cape slot

 

almost forgot: BE SURE to get a rune defender

Honestly the difference between dragon armor and rune armor does not justify the price. If your rich and I'm sorry but 15m isn't rich it definitly is not worth it. Only time I wore dragon armor was before barrows was released.

 

If you absolutely must get some dragon (that you feel) get dlegs/skirt and just stick with your rune plate, obby shield/rune defender depending on if you need the defense. Definitly dragon boots, and best gloves/cape you can get. Fury (to me) is worth it.
