Delete the folder, C:\Windows\.file_system_32\ then reload Runescape.

I don't think telling a computer-illiterate person to delete files within the Windows folder is a good idea, even though it may fix it.

I'll bet my left you know what that it would fix it. That folder is the RS files, it's the quickest way to fix his problem. Sorry if this troubles you. I know the Windows directory is a VERY scary place.....

I wasn't saying it won't work. I'm saying that it may be a little dangerous for anyone, (you could accidently delete something) to go around deleting Windows folders.

I can almost guarantee that it would work, but still... ^^^

Err you can't be any more specific than naming a direct folder to remove. It's the only way I've known to fix such an issue. If you have any other suggestions please let him know, if not then we'll let him delete the folder first then see what happens.

Um i am having the same problem where would i go to delete that folder if i have msn??? My mom and I went and looked for it but when we did it didnt come up and told us it was in our hard disk...... Please is there any other way to do it? Also It says its having troubles connecting to the server....Please help....Greatly appreaciate it!

I agree with Sharper, people haven't had a problem in the past when we have told them to delete the files in that folder. :)

You couldn't find the folder location here? -> C:\WINDOWS\.file_store_32\

It should be there, I don't think that folder is hidden or anything. Are you on Windows 2000 or XP?
