I plan on meleeing him, as my range level is only 78 I feel meleeing him will be much less difficult. Stats - 99 Attack99 Strength79 Defence96 HP70 Prayer68 Summoning I purchased a zamorak spear to use (and I'll be using dclaws as a spec wep), I have black dhide, and melee void armour. I planned on using either the dhide with a neitiznot and barrows gloves or the void.. but I'd rather get others' opinions on what would be the best setup. crashNburn Posted August 5, 2010 Share Posted August 5, 2010 If you haven't fought him at all yet it might be wise to try a dry run, with an inventory of sharks or something. When you run out of supplies you can always LoS him to reset the fight, then walk out. Not necessary, but allows you to get used to the fight. Beyond that, I can't give any real advice on your setup, I ranged him. People sure seem to love using kyatts on his berserk phase though. Bring a kyatt as well.
