If I was doing something like agility, would I get more rings/gems? As for movement, nothing shows correlation in my experience, although using a familiar special seems to "reset" the timer for the next gathering. For example, a fruit bat summoned and left alone will gather anywhere from 12 to 20 items, while if you are using its special, it might only gather 1-5 items...
