vettro
With the herbs all crashing in price I am interested in getting as far as I can with about 40-50M. So my question is what potion should I make as a good balance between speed and cost? I don't want to flush the money down just to get it done quickly but I am not interested in cleaning herbs to gain levels. If anyone could also fill me in on the simpler points of herblore, as in, do I buy just vials or vials of water, etc, etc. I would like to buy the supplies asap with the prices down so a quick, helpful, coherent reply would be great. Thanks.

Zephy
Regular energy potions are down to 18gp/xp from their usual 20-21. They're slower than what most people do, but I find they're worth the savings. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

Granted, they are a bit slower than other pots, but ranarr is already climbing back up and other options are significantly more expensive. Plus, unlike other pots where you need to sell the product to buy more supplies, energy pots have almost no resale value, so you don't have to worry about selling them. Probably good to start with the cheaper, slower methods while still a very low herblore level. Thanks!
vettro
I actually have 1500 grimy harralander herbs sitting in my bank right now so I guess I'll just use them!

You have to pay an extra gp or two per exp, but you save like 30-40% of the time depending on your banking speed. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.
