Best way to get elite clues?

If you're going to kill for clue scrolls, you might as well kill something that gives good rewards even if you don't get a good clue drop, e.g. mithril dragons, slayer training, TDs, DKs, Bork, Skeletal Horror.

That's why I'm leaning towards dks now. Bronze dragons were very good for lvl 3's (had 5 of them in just over an hour), but elites seem rare. Mith drags are a lot slower kills/h (around 60 at max I'd say) so I'm not sure whether that's worth it.

Perhaps cannoning steels in the new dungeon?

I would do TDs, DKs, miths, or steel dragons. Cannoning steel dragons at Ghorrock fortress while on ancients to bank quickly (if you want to) is a pretty good deal.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Did 3h of KBD and ended up with one lvl 3 clue. Lvl 3 yes... Tip it's bestiary is wrong, kbd also drops lvl 3 clues.

I believe I read somewhere that anything that drops level 4 clues also drops level 3 clues? Could have just been a rumour, but I think it's valid.

Pretty sure Bork and Skeletal Horror don't drop lv3 scrolls.
