I had a bit more trouble. Was scared I would have to run for a bit. Then again, didn't bring food, potions, or good armor....full void with mage helm, book of balance, guthix cape, claws of Guthix.

Adding to this, the quest guide says in the 'tips' section "Prayer potions are very important during this battle as the guardian can drain your prayer and heal itself during the battle." If you restore your prayer the knight will continue to heal off you, so it's best to let your prayer drain before the fight. It does stop healing off you if it drains your prayer to 0 during the fight though.
