Should be a piece of cake for you. Wear dhides and protect melee. Or, wear mage stuff and use water wave, and don't forget your ice gloves.

You don't need Ice Gloves to actually kill him, he only hits marginally higher with Melee without it (and you just protect from melee anyways). Just select the option to Auto-Cast your best water spell without anything equipped in your shield or weapon slot, and just mage him to death (Mystic or Ahrim will suffice, it's honestly not a hard opponent)

As I remember, Fareed was the easiest of the four - any d'hide or even magic robes will do, just autocast your water spell (magic was quite effective, so I'm guessing at your level it will do just fine too).

 

You don't actually need the ice gloves, as mentioned, and you don't really need anything particularly decent aside from food and runes.

 

Pray melee, bring some decent food and you'll be more than fine. :wink:

Lol, i killed him in 3-5 hits, at slightly higher magic lvl than you, but you'd be fine, be more concerned about the ice diamond, thats hard!
