Okay my slayer is level 70, and I have a task of 125 spectres. I was just wondering what is the best thing to wear. this is what i currently have to get ready for task. I only have 120k in bank (Just bought my whip)

I recommend prossy top and skirt + prayer potions, because their magic attack still hits hard through dragonhide.

I'm guessing you don't have a slayer helm, so a salve amulet (e) > glory

Macaw helps to increase better herb drops

And try to get a rune defender.

Setup looks fine, just remember to take a Terrorbird and fill it up with herbs too.

Take a decent amount of food with you and you'll be fine. When you finally get your summoning high enough, add a bunyip.

I use proseltye and prayer potions to kill them, although prayer pots are next to impossible to buy right now.

You should be using a salve ammy since you don't have a slayer helm.

No, macaw is definitely better than a terrorbird or bunyip. Abby specs drop ridiculous amounts of herbs and the macaw gives you amazing value.

Okay I updated my equipment, I'm bringing a Terror Bird. And last trip I got a Lantadyme Seed, along with a bunch of herbs, so I'm happy about it. :)

My combat < yours but I usually use:

 

Prossy legs (verac skirt better but maybe overkill) + chest

D boots

Rune gloves

Unholy book

Sara stole

Slayer helm

Whip

Pray boosting cape of some sort

 

Inv:

2 pray pots

1 super att

1 super str

Holy wrench (maybe not worth it for the extra inv spot)

 

By the time I run out of pray I have usually filled my inv with irit+ then just home tele for Lummy altar and bank and Slayer ring back to Tower (or Edgeville Glory and Fairy Rings). If you kill quicker then maybe fewer pray pots - or pick up better herbs only. Never used the Macaw, will do now though.

 

I easily make back the two pray pots in ranarrs and better herbs/seeds
