I need to fill up some magic boxes. Where's the best place to catch those lvl 2 imps?

The new resource dungeon in karamja volcano is probably your best bet. There's several imp spawns fairly close together, although there are also some irritating lesser demons that will attack you for a while.

Another weird place but very effective if you can get in would be zammy gwd base.
