Fastest way to get a shadow silk hood?

It's an awesome item, but not worth sacrificing too much xp for.

I'd continue doing larges with 5:5 teams, except find really good teams where everyone already has a hood. Imo, that's the only real surefire way of increasing your chances of getting one, and you don't compromise any xp.

Hehe, I already missed 2 hoods because I couldn't click fast enough :wall:

Also, are there certain floors where they're more common (relatively speaking)?

I'm under the impression that you can only get Night Spiders in Furnished, Abandoned 2, and Occult floors.

Well there you go.

Still, I'd recommend just doing what you normally do to get xp. After you get the hood, you're bound to be disappointed in it once in a while. Better not to give yourself anything more to kill yourself over, so don't squander xp.

You can get Night Spiders from F12-47. Basically, all but Frozen.

TBH, just get a few friends and Dungeoneer. There's no way to get a guaranteed hood. I got mine in a Trio Medium, and I killed it by myself (which is why I managed to pick it up :P)

The only suggestion I can give to you is, do it with people with the required Slayer level, do loads of Mediums/Larges on F12-47 (basically, Dungeoneer normally, like you normally would) and just be patient. You'll get it eventually

Also, when I do 5:5 larges on f32+, I see a Night Spider typically every 2 or 3 dungeons, if that's any guideline.

If you find a spider, don't tell anyone. Kill it in secret.

Haha, guess I'll try and key more, that way i'll be ahead of the others

Guess I'll stick to some normal dungeons, I tried to do smalls 30-35 without repeating but that got really boring
