Double XP weekend help?

Ok so since there is going to be another double XP weekend, i had some questions.

1. Would slayer, and combat be a bad thing to train for the double XP weekend? ( I really want 85 slayer (like everyone else lol))

2. I just got level 84 mining, and i want 85 mining, would doing concentrated ores be a bad idea? (as in, would i get from 84-85 just from the bonus weekend at all?)

3. If not for both, what WOULD be a good skill for me to train during this time?

4. I'm not really interested in money loss because i know that if i get a high enough level in certain skills i could make all my money back.

5. I'm NOT going to train construction, agility, herblore, summoning, dungeoneering, or prayer at all.

Farming? So if i planted them tonight and harvested them tomorrow, would I get double XP for them?

correct, so if you planted fruit and regular trees tonight and checked health on them first thing tomorrow when you log on you would get 2.7x xp for them.

mhm, thats what im doing right now, planting them and when i get home tomorrow im checking my trees and fruit trees, im getting over 100k xp from just checking the health, thats papaya and maple, so if you do pineapple you should get a little less then me

even if you don't train construction, a very good way to make money right now would be to cut mahogany logs, and make planks with the special logs and then sell the planks and the extra logs. I sold about 1.5k logs and got a little more than 1 mil gp. And if your lucky 1.5k logs should give you 30 special logs which would be 390 planks which is another 1mil.
