Get a member of the Dagon'hai's mind control spells to backfire on him

How do you do this task? I don't ever recall having a Dagon'hai' use mind control powers on me :S

Go up through the Chaos shortcut, and talk to all the mages there, one of them attempts to do it to you.

Go into the statue north-east of Varrock. Go to the north-east alcove and talk to the person there. Select something about being the leader and being a powerful mage and you will complete the task.

I figured it out after a bit of research:

 

The Dagon'hai you're looking for is called Sil'as Dahcsnu.

 

You know the entrance you used originally to get into the chaos tunnels? The one below sawmill, that's east of Varrock? He's in there.

 

Just chat with him, and say you're a powerful magician.
