Storm
Player A has a sell offer of 1,000 gp for the item in the GE and player B has an offer of 1,020 gp. I put in an offer to buy the item for 1,050 gp. Whose item gets sold and for how much? Come dance.

However there can be a time-delay before selling/buying (apart from the limits). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. K4ylan
Player A sells his item and receives 1000gp. You receive the item and 50gp back. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
Storm
Ok thanks. So the only way for player B to sell his item is to wait until player A has sold his? Assuming there are no other offers at all of course. Come dance.
pulli23
yes, or if A hits his "limit" (or if A just putted the items into the GE, and it's still on "start cooldown") First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. That sounds like something that would prevent instant transactions, but I know those happen... Come dance.

MerchantInTheDark
For every GE transaction (Buy -> Sell), ONE person (the buyer or the seller) gets an instant transaction every time, one person has to wait. If there is no buy offer currently in the GE for the item you are selling at your price, the next person to buy will get your item instantly.
