Does ring of wealth help? Is it worth it to wear it?

imo using something like the explorers ring which will save on prayer pots (+prayer) or a stat boosting ring which speeds up the task is more valuable to use here.

No it won't help, plus d boots are only an uncommon drop. Not very rare or even rare so you have a pretty good chance of getting them sometime during a trip, depending on how long you stay of course. I couldn't really care about the p pots, because mostly what I get in runes/pure ess pays for them. I am curious as to what ring would be better or if wealth is the best.

take your choice, imo any ring is better than wealth, as a "chance" of improved loot < increased speed

But that doesn't change the fact that a RoW doesn't help, which was the question. At spirit mages, you'll hardly pick up gems, so any ring with somewhat of a helpful boost is advised to be used over the wealth.

Ring of Wealth only affects drops in the rare drop table, and that table includes gems, half keys, etc and are a dropped by most monsters. Unique drops id dragon boots, abyssal whips, saradomin hilt, etc are not affected by the RoW in any way, shape, or form.
