i was thinking if jagex should introduce a lifetime membership program. you would pay maybe a year's worth of membership (i don't know about this, i don't know much about the value of the dollar and whatnot), to have membership for as long as you account remains usable.

If you have to pay 50 euro for lifetime and you play 1 year it's useless for them afterall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mostly lifetime membership is done if we're talking about games in their early developping stage and so the creator(s) need money, quick.

i see a big problem with this:

 

 

 

who would want to pay a lifetime membership when you might decide to quit in a year or two. Keep in mind that a lifetime membership would have to be over $250 for jagex to continue to make money.

 

 

 

There a lot more things you could buy for that amount of money, well thats the big problem i see with it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you used to be able to get a year membership for like a 10% discount but jagex stopped that for some reason (i don't know why because i had quit rs for a while when this happened)

I don't see why Jagex would ever give you the option.

Well i had nothing else to do so im bumping/sharing my ideas on old topics, i really dont think this is a good idea, major money loss, for jagex, plus w waste of moeny, its fine the way it is.
