Stand in the middle, you're more likely to be closer to him when he spawns, giving you time to reach him and make the relative pray changes after his 1st attack hits you. pray whatever has the lowest def from your equipment, make sure you brew to over 9000 (actually you have to be at 1k to definately tank his 1st hit). Remember, you can do the whole waves on your home computer, log out at the 2 360's and then go to another comp to fight jad.
