alwaysAZN
Hi, I got a few questions :S if you can help me with some of them, thanks heaps! Well im trying to raise stats so i can do effigies but i need help on how best to do it efficiently... I dont mind spending money if it isnt ridiculous amounts (ie 10gp/exp for fletching is lol...) Also my time i value at about 1-2mill/hour (why is this relevant??) Crafting from 85 > 94, For this do i just make dhide bodies? or are headresses' materials actually buyable in the GE. I was thinking of combining dhide bodies with superglass make or doesnt it make 700k+ p.h like it used to?Fletching from 85 > 94 Broad arrows look good, but what do i do with the arrows!!! are headless arrows buyable? is training at sawmill for woodcutting a better alternative? Any good ways to train efficiently?Theiving from 85 > 94, Just PP all the way?Hunter from 70 > 90, Im guessing salamanders and then butterflies ASAP.Farming from 79 > 94, is it better to do fishing?? do i grow trees and herbs?Any effigies i forgot to account for? summoning effigies i will do over time... and i already have 99 cooking and 95 smithing :D Also some various random questions: *Atm i only do bork as the 'boss' daily whenever i remember, im guessing skeletal horror isnt worth the time it takes to kill, but is the phoenix worth it? *What do i put penguin points in, from the following: 90 herblore, 90 summoning, 72 RC (soon to have 400k in it from WGS), 80 agility or 70 (soon to be 80+) prayer. See i thought Summoning would normally be ideal, but im going for 99 slayer (from 90 atm) anyway which is going to get me alot of charms so im torn between the rest. Herblore exp is easier for me to get then most people say... and im making extremes when i need them anyway (no plans on gettin overloads int he future) but its expensive. I want to train agility for agile top too and butterfleis can only get me so much xp :S finally i HATE RC!!! and i want at least 77 RC for dungeoneering :S *How good are the sniper and keen eye tier rings in dungeoneering? worth gettin for bosses? Crafting: battlestaves for cheap exp, cutting gems or dhide bodies for fastest exp. Anythings good really, depends on how much cash you have to work with.Fletching: haven't done since 2007, so can't accurately comment, sorryThieving: best is to do blackjacking til 91 then PP onwards, but blackjacking is pretty boring and click intensive, so give it a quick try and if it's not for you then just PPHunter: got 99 in this skill a few months after it was released, I think the one-spawn red chinchompa method is good, as are barehanded catching butterfliesFarming: buy trees, no way around it really. 1 run a day of maples/yews and papayas/palms with calquats will net you 94 quickly. Fishing, just do whatever til 90 (Barb fish if you can stand it, or Shilo or monkfish) then fish rocktail (AFK) or barbarian powerfishing. Skeletal Horror has a 1/20 chance of dropping elite clue, but that's not great (especially since elite clues give crappy rewards) and the other exp isn't worth it. Phoenix isn't worth it. I'd also say Bork isn't worth it unless you have 99 slayer because summoning will come through slayer naturally and you don't need charms past 99. You should use effigies in RC because it is the slowest skill to train (barring Slayer, which produces effigies to boost its exp rate) and because you hate training it as well. However, I'd try to ZMI to 77-80 first because you won't get much for each effigy at your current level and that amount of exp isn't too severe. Dungeoneering rings: if you are ranging, use a Desperado class ring. The others aren't quite as useful. 2496 Completionist
bedman
Battlestaves are perfect for crafting. Air bstaves are 280k xp/h and only 2-3 gp/xp. Just have an offer in the ge at all times, and craft whenever you get some (normally 664 a day). If you are impatient, ask friends to put offers too. For fletching: the broad arrows are useless, so you have to count on a 100% loss when making them. Still, it is only 4-6 gp/xp, incredibely fast, and there is a make 10 option, so it's not click intensive. Rest: Jettrider has commented already pretty well onthose A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
Quyneax
I'd note that it's better to get higher-levelled familiars sooner rather than later, speeding up slayer, so Bork is quite worth it. alwaysAZN
wow thanks jettrider, now i got a new daily, buying battlestaffs in GE ::D while i work on other skills. So if i dont want runecrafting past 77, what do i put the lamps in?? Is there anything to be achieved with RC past 77, other then achievement diaries? that leaves fletching btw, so just straight broad arrows? Ik theres also profitable stuff like diamond tipped bolts, any good?
