joey11223
Hey folks. I'm new to this skill, I'm level 14 but only from ToG. I've done a few floors, the highest I can do is floor 6. I have been told to go solo until level 50 or so then find a team, all the items and rules are quite overwhelming! So firstly do get xp do I just do the highest floor and complexity I can over and over? Secondly It seems you can invest tokens into your ring to boost a "class" of your choice. Should I decide what I want to be say Melee "tank", Ranger "sniper" etc right now and invest tokens into this, or leave it? any advice and general tips would be great, cheers, Joe. First off, it'll be more challenging to get a group at low levels but it's definitely still possible and worth trying. Even a person with 90 dungeoneering is eventually going to have to go back to the first few floors so you can catch a team now and then. Either way it'll still get easier well before 50. I'm only level 37 and find groups whenever I feel like going up there. Second question: EMPHATIC NO! You'll never get decent xp that way. When you're in a group (And the easy way to do it is to group yourself) click on change next to floor level. You'll have blue blocks (forms a line really) for rooms you can access and a check mark next to the floors you've completed. Always complete every floor you can once each, then use the reset option on your ring. This will give you a prestige such as 3 if you completed 3 floors but now you can do those floors again without an XP penalty for a repeat, and a slight bonus as well. And lastly I wouldn't worry about class until you've had some experience and know what to expect. Also in that case level 50 would probably be a good idea as well since you can then bind two items which you might need to fulfill the conditions of your class. Example a tank needs a shield, but early on it's best to have a weapon bound. At 50 dung you can have your favorite weapon and a shield so that'd be a better time to try it out. Also you'll have more tokens to burn by then. :P

Sorry, but no. Everyone with the levels to team the usual floors do complexity 1, usually 5:1 rushes for the first floors. He'd get like 50xp from that.
