nice work, i just re-read the hobbit lol. i think the smoke should be a dark grey, not black, and a little more glare that fades away from the relfection on the water. make smaug's eye a little more evident? and a little more texture in the water, i'd make the waves a tad more easy to distinguish. anyway good work,

Pretty good, but Smaug's head looks too small, and the reflection of the flames should probably be wider so it actually reflects the whole width of the fire. Some of the houses and buildings look weird, like the tall one on the left.

nice detail on smaug's back/wing area though...but make the waves easier to see.. after all there's a bloody fire going on 8)

I think Smaugs wings should be bigger... He looks like a butterfly to me now :S
