Well, I thought this might be good for aspiring fake makers. There really isn't much that can't be changed in an rs screenshot without a bit of work. The opportunity to make original fakes in rs is almost endless. Use some creativity and make some creative work. BEFORE EDITING (ALL WITH PAINT) AFTER EDITING SCENE FINISHED Keep in mind, this is all done in paint. And yes I know the text sucks. So all you wishful fakers, think of something original, actually put a bit of work into its production and hopefully your idea is substantial enough to parallel your skill.

Originality is what makes a fake good. You've already heard it but- do something original. In game screen fakes are the best.

Hardly as good as the lotr series, and yes I understand it has absolutely no plot. (by the way, I don't crank out fakes like a madman, the lotr series was made almost 2 years ago but never made it to tip.it go check it out? LOTR Fake Series). In fact, the plot is never resolved. But it makes for some interesting fakes lol. Enjoy.

Actually, no matter how amazing it turns out, he will still be right. You give us a couple of lines out of proportion and ask us to rate. There is nothing to rate. Your post is pointless so far.

Awesome, it's always encouraging to know my work inspires other work. I often have urges to create a new pixel after seeing someone's work even though mine hardly ends up ever looking as good.

It's very familiar style, but I think it looks awesome. The important thing is that it looks good, and you've got that covered.

Yah, I mentioned that in one of the posts. I plan on fixing those sometime.

Well, not sure tip.it ever received the final LOTR fake series. I have the first part with direct links but everything else is links for 56kers. I think the gold can be greatly improved. Right now it seems a bit too 2 dimensional. Try giving it a bit more depth by making your darker areas a bit darker.

i'd have to give it a 5/10. Your text isn't placed correctly and I thought your idea was a little dull. Try to think of something really unique and then spend some extra time to make sure all your details are right. Things will turn out much better that way.

I dont own photoshop :anxious: Yah, there is no need for pixeling. I do it for fun, just like any other kind of art.

Terley pretty much summed up why color counting was done. Now there is not really much reason for it, you can't really say that it's the way it's supposed to be done. It was done that way for a reason. Now that reason doesn't exist. If a pixeler simply wants to give themselves a challenge thats good, but I don't think it detracts from his/her work if they don't limit themselves to a certain amount of colors on topic: Huge improvement over last time I saw it. Can't remember where, but it definately looks better now. But that foot is really big. Looks swollen :roll: :D

yep :D I can't take credit for the perspective though, its from a screen shot of oblivion. But I did change a lot of things in the background to my liking.

Well, I decided it was time to do some work on my oblivion pixel so voila. Anyway, comments and suggestions are welcome. I hope to get it done when I have more time next week.

Using my favorite screenshot of oblivion, I did the line work and then went on to get what you see below. I wanted to get away from all the normal shading ways that most pixelers use. I decided I would use absolutely no dithering and no flat colors. The entire thing will be shaded with pencil and spray can. How do you know where to put certain color pixels you ask? I dont know, I just try stuff and see if it works and if it does I try to improve it. Tell me what you think.

regardless, there is a noselike hole in his face, look at the pic I posted. Which was the point of the discussion in the first place. There is supposed to be a hole there, even if it isn't a nostril.
