Antrune
1.) What is your first name? Why does this matter? Anthony 2.) What country/state are you from? UK 3.) Do you currently have a job? Yup 4.) Have you ever personaly experienced job-area prejudice? Nope 5.) If so was it by your employer, fellow empoles, customers, or other? Nope 6.) Have you ever seen others in their job experience prejudice? where? Not that I can recall 7.) Do you think job area prejudice is a problem? why or why not? Well ive heard of women getting payed less for the same job as men, so that could be a problem. And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
Mercifull
1.) What is your first name? Matt 2.) What country/state are you from England (South West) 3.) Do you currently have a job? Yes 4.) Have you ever personaly experienced job-area prejudice? explain Yes, ageism. I am constantly ignored on my opinions and ideas purely because of my age. I am also last for any training opportunities because some people still think of me as being like a work experience kid despite me being 21. 5.) If so was it by your employer, fellow empoles, customers, or other? Not by any of my colleagues but definitly by people in the other departments where the average age is much higher. they dont like young epople ocming in knowing how do to things better than the ways they have done all their lives and so i get ignored. 6.) Have you exer seen others in their job experience prejudice? where? Homophobia. theres a few gay people here that i know of, and all of them have experienced some form of homophobic prejudice at some point 7.) Do you think job area prejudice is a problem? why or why not? Of course job area prejudice is a problem, all prejudice is a bad thing. Without sounding agist myself here lol its mostly from the older people who are unwilling to accept change in an organisation. I work for the government which has always had very conservative work practices but all the younger people coming in is changing that and they dont like it. They unfortunaly express their frustation on people younger, smaller or a different sexuality or race than themselves.
