Emerson
So, looking at my future Bandos endeavors with a CLS, I was wondering if using the new void deflector and substituting a BCP is an acceptable (and by that I mean teams would take someone with and it also being useful) strategy for gearing up in place of the standard full bandos + nezzy and a defender. Here's a complete rundown of all the items and stats: -Void Melee Helm-Amulet of Fury-BCP-Void Knight Robe-Dragon Boots-Void Knight Gloves-Warrior Ring-Fire Cape-Chaotic Long-Void Knight Deflector-Zamorak Arrow (protect item ftw) Stats: Attack (slash): 139, Strength Bonus: 140 + void set effectDefense: Stab: 212 Slash: 212 Crush: 221 Ranged: 231 Magic: 70 Let me know what you guys think! green9090
Unless the team is very small or you are very low level, I'd go for barrows gloves rather than BCP. Defense oughtn't to be much of an issue for a non-tank and Bandos, and barrows gloves are significantly better, offensively speaking. Edit: for Bandos protection, just use the Oo'glog pool. I do generally go with small teams and the reason I ask is because I'm considering selling my tassets at the moment "In order to lead, you must learn how to carry your followers upon your shoulders""A man is not only defined by his abilities, but also by those of the men with which he surrounds himself""The meek fight for skill and fame, the strong fight for power with the skill and fame they already have""There is no good without sacrifice and no sacrifice without mercy"
green9090
If you're in a very small team, you'd probably be better off with BCP and Verac's skirt and other standard gear rather than sacrificing a lot of defense for void. It'd be a very narrow band where you'd want just as much defense as you can get from a BCP and void rather than just going all out offensive and taking the gloves. I've never tried it personally, but that's my prediction. You might very well find it works better than I'm giving it credit for if you try it. Then I'm assuming its cool to sell the tassets in this case? What I'm really asking is if people would be willing to take someone in the gearset I outlined above "In order to lead, you must learn how to carry your followers upon your shoulders""A man is not only defined by his abilities, but also by those of the men with which he surrounds himself""The meek fight for skill and fame, the strong fight for power with the skill and fame they already have""There is no good without sacrifice and no sacrifice without mercy"
green9090
Yeah, +2 str is not a big deal, and Verac's comes with extra prayer bonus too. gremmy
I'd use the old void, as rune defender with CLS is beastly compared to barrows gloves with CLS. But on the other hand, max strength gear would probably be better.
