majiko115
i just made an account specifically so that i could mention this idea. i am an avid user of the tip.it site and i always recommend it. one thing that i would find helpful in deciding where to place the experience i get from my penguin points and my dragonkin lamps would be if someone would put a new column on these calculators showing how much experience to the next level after using the points/lamp. i know it is going to be extra work for you guys to implement this if you decide to follow this train of thought but it would certainly help me and many of your other faithful users in deciding where to place their gained xp
Sy_Accursed
Interesting idea. Though I don;t quite follow the logic of why xp to next level AFTER you have used to gain would effect your choice of where to place the xp? majiko115
Interesting idea. Though I don;t quite follow the logic of why xp to next level AFTER you have used to gain would effect your choice of where to place the xp? well it would tell you how close you would be to the next level after using your points/lamp so if you had 300 xp in ranging (example) and need a total of 400xp for the next level, your lamp (still an example) gives you 50xp then you would still know you need that other 50xp... it would help you know if you would be close to your next level rather then just telling you if it would make you level up or not. i've had to go in and use a calculator to find out if it would get me close enough to the next level that i thought it would be worth using on that skill and for high level skills this would be really useful. All_Bogs
Hello Majiko115, welcome to the forums and thank you for your suggestion :) I agree, it'd be nice to display this. I'll poke Speedyshel and see if he's up for it. In the meantime, you could refer to our XP Tables to see how close to the next level you'll get. Speedyshel
I can see how this would be a nice addition and can see it benefiting users. The Penguin Point Calculator will be able to incorporate this nicely, but I'm a bit concerned having this additional column in the Dragonkin Lamp Calc will make the calculator even more overwhelming than it already is. I'll try to work this into the design and see what will work, but I'll do what I can. Thanks for your suggestion ;) - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*

Speedyshel
This has been added to the Penguin Points Calculator as of right now. It isn't live yet because it just has to be tested to be sure it operates as it should. As for the Dragonkin Lamp Calculator, I am still hesitant to make the addition because I think there's already far too much information there and it will be overwhelming if there's an additional column of data added. If there's a particular column we can do away with, then it'll be less cluttered when the new column is added. So, for now, the Penguin calc is maybe a day from release and the other calc is in a discussion/planning phase. EDIT: I've uploaded the Penguin Points Calculator to the live site. Should be visible now. Let me know if there are any thoughts about it. - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*

Speedyshel
I'm glad the calculator proves to be even more helpful to you now! Thanks for the suggestion ;)About your question, the only way we get feedback on calculators on any content for that matter is from users either messaging us directly giving us their thoughts on an update (which is uncommon from my own experience) or the creation of a topic doing so. I welcome any comments or concerns regarding current content. As for suggesting future content that we don't already have, there's the Website Discussion part of the forum under the Community Feedback section. Hope this helps answer your question :P  - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
