Arch_Tyrant
Edit: I apologize, this should have been posted in Help & Advice. :-? I'm setting my next goal as 99 mage. I'm 94 atm and was just pondering some methods for maxing it out.I'm looking for fast methods to do this, they don't necessarily have to be efficient or cheap. I've heard casting plank make is fairly quick and cheap exp but it seems a bit tedious. A while back I got 99 range by chinning monkey skeles, would barraging be a viable method as well? I know barrage runes cost considerably more than a chinchompa but I would be hitting more and getting more exp per shot. Does anybody have any other suggestions on what I should do? Tact
I did a good chunk of my magic at w44 soul wars. Casting burst at the opposing team's bandages with a water staff and clay hats from SC, I was getting at least 60k xp per game, or about 170k xp per hour, not including xp from zeal. If you were to barrage and make use of all the damage boosting equipment out there now (SOL, arcane stream, magic/ext magic pots or a wolper) this figure will be much higher, easily in excess of 200k+ xp per hour. With the hp xp and zeal factored in, you're looking at 300k+ xp an hour.
Lacoste
Seeing as your not 99 summoning already, I think barraging/bursting is a perfect option for you to train both summoning and magic, however I'll advise to do it in breaks, as barraging does get boring, but nonetheless it is still very rewarding and worth doing.
